Early diagnosis, intervention, and the right supports and resources can have an immense impact on the quality of life for individuals with 22q differences. Because 22q affects so many various systems in the human body, the diagnosis itself can inform families of a wide range of potential medical and developmental differences. Researchers continue to grow the areas on which they focus.
